Hi, everyone,
Recently I'm look for smart plugs that allow me to control my appliances via my smartphone. I find one as the following.
slideshare.net/H3Platform/application-s ... yasyst-app
It seems this smart plug adopt Wi-Fi for connection, and I can use their APP to remotely control, make on/off schedule, receive messages; it also provides the daily power cost report. I could even share the device with my family.
But, I'm worrying what's the disadvantage of Wi-Fi? Security issue or the reliability of connection? Also, though this one is good, I still want to compare with other product before purchasing.
Could anyone with experiences using similar product give me some suggestions? Or anybody have some suggestions about similar product?
Suggestion for smart plug
Re: Suggestion for smart plug
I didn't test/ordered any products yet, but these are the ones I'm currently interested in (price wise).
Broadlink: SP1, SP2
Kankun SP3, mini-k, mini-pro
Crerco Mini-S
EDUP EP-3703
Orvibo S20
Xiaomi Smart Socket
Edimax SP-1101W, SP-2101W
Renkforce BS21 (bluetooth)
Gembird EG-PM1W-001
Main issue now is to get them with EU plug. The other question you might have to ask yourself is if you want a monitoring socket or just a switching one.
