Rainsensor Hydreon RG 11

Post by GJB »

Has anybody experience with this optical rainsensor?

http://rainsensors.com/how-it-works/

I need a sensor to open my sunscreens when it starts to rain. Sensor looks interesting, but isn't cheap.
Are there equal alternatives?

Thx!

Any suggestions where to buy best? Prices in Europe seem a lot higher than in England.

Thx, the Kemo would be my alternative, but it seems more sensitive for dirt.
@ Akatar: I find the price in UK is about £59, but outside the UK some €100, which is a lot higher.

Thanks for your replies!
