Code for the ezl70 on Linux

Hi all,
At this monument I am trying to follow the lead of bwired to read the smart meter using the 7404 and the ezl70a.
But can somebody tell me or show me how I can get this measurements in a MySQL or oracle database using c++
Is there someware any example code to do this?
