Hello rene,
could you confirm your resistor and supply voltage values if your system is working fine ?
Thanks

I openened up the enclosure and had a look. I use 5V as the supply voltage, I feed the JeeNode with a 5V adapter and picked the supply voltage for the CNY70 from the P pin. And the resistor values are 220 and 10K (just because I had these laying around at the time).

Thanks to all !
So based on all answers, I should have some good results if I just change the Led resistor value to somethink lower than 220ohms as my power supply is only 3.3v and because intensity matters through this Led. Some members got good results with the CNY70 so it should work with my configuration

At the danger of cross posting, I have found another interfacing option for a BK-G4 meter, which looks quite like yours see here.

Hello,
Do you know if it is possible to install a hall sensor on my meter :

If yes, which hall sensor would work ?

Hi,

I've tried it with a AUGN3503U which I had lying around but it didn't work. Maybe other users can report better results with a different sensor?

I suspect that the "mirror"-like film is made out of aluminum and I don't think that is ferrous and can be detected.

Thanks alot for your reply.
I am still stuck .....Image
I tried the CNY70 with a lower resistor 100ohms instead of 220 , it is better but still too difficult to adjust .
Does anyone know an alternative to the CNY70 that would see the small "mirror" ? Is the option to add something to the CNY70 to dramatically increase the response ?
My power supply is 3.3V ? Would it work with 5V ?
Thanks

Dear John,

If i read all the response it is obivious to me that your 3.3V is to low and you could be better aming at 5V.
Why not just try it for a change?
Bram
