Introducing me and my project!

Hi all! I've been reading this forum for about a year now and I thought now is a good time to introduce me and my project!
Let's start with the most interesting bit, the project...

As my girlfriend and I bought an old house (1930) that needed a serious refit, this was a good opportunity to implement some modern technology, I bought some old X10 modules from Marktplaats and tested them for stability. This worked very well and so I went ahead and step by step expanded the system.
We are now about one year into the refit and have a good idea of what we want in the near future. Some of it is already working, some of it is prepared for and will be installed at some point.


Already working:
Homeseer running on a EEE 901 laptop
HStouch on iPad and 2x Android
Oregon scientific I600 weather station for (humidity) data from the bathroom.
Couple of lighs and (stork RPM) ventilation system.
Jriver for music in the livingroom

In the near future:
Jriver for music in the "serre"/kitchen as well (just lacks wireless connection and amp)
NX8 alarm system connected to homeseer (alarm already installed)
IR transmitter for tv, radio etc. (cabling in place)
Itho CV and Thermostat (VAG5000 Floor) controlled by homeseer (PCB and components ordered)

Wishlist:
Controlling radiators seperately with Danfoss living connect
RFXcom (just because it's cool, I'll find a reason to buy one...)


Who am I? My name is Rutger, I live in Ridderkerk (near Rotterdam) and am 30 years old. I have basic programming and a little more electronic skills.
