new functionality of OTG

good morning all
I want to buy OTG, but I miss the one to configuration. I want to use the OTG, among other things, like a termostat for floor heating (I dont want to build a new device). My idea is to add new functionality to the device and control one of the four outputs internal temperature information taken from the room thermostat. Will I be able in the future to realize my proposal?
