Hi Kennetht,

I don't own the IMT350, but I have one here in my "lab" right now :)
Read Akatar's post above on how to order, it worked for him, so...
And shame on Vaillant customer support!!
If you want to know how a modulating thermostat works, read http://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Modulerende_regeling

And this going on for a long time now, looks like they have big problems or there is no API coming at all.
I mailed Proliphix but they are not ansewering also?
Lets hope it will be there soon....... I still like my Proliphiv very much, but only integrtated in my HA system, so with API!
it looks like you can order you're imt350 :)

@Akatar:
You say, that you've ordered one directly from Proliphix?
As of now I still haven't received any mail from them yet, so maybe you can answer the following questions (Looks like you're from the Netherlands too):
What did you pay for the imt350c or imt350w?
What were the shipping costs?
Any trouble at Dutch customs or fee/fine?

I'm not into TVOH, so... here you see a IMT350 and a NT20e, controlled by the HomeSeer Proliphix Plugin:
- Temperature unit/scale = Celsius;
- 2 models, 1 with officialy unknown API, running side by side 8)

Still need some testing, but everything looks OK...

@Akatar: That is $410 (thermostat + shipping - non express) + € 70 (Customs Fee) = € 310 + € 70 = € 380.

Do you think this is the unit for me? I don't have any domotica @home, but I'm getting interested reading this forum. I have a background in electronics and programming (intranets)
As far as I can see there is no alternative to this unit.

Should I buy this Proliphix?

If there are more people interested in a new thermostat we can place one order and share the shipping costs.

i have no idea.
you can wait for some people here, some of them are going to buy the imt and perhaps are selling their "old" nt10e or nt20e

should i buy or not is you're problem, don't make it my problem :)

I'm interested in sharing the shipping costs.
I think it's the right device.
Also reading that it responds well to the old API calls makes me happy. I can write simple Ajax calls to integrate the thermostat into a website. And possibly even make a Mobile site for android.
Who's going to make a list of interested people?

For those interested in the IMT series Thermostats, here's a little story about it and some images.
http://blog.hekkers.net/2011/01/23/the- ... x-imt350c/
It's not a review, nor is it a manual on how to implement your own DIY interfacing with it, it's just a small story about my "adventures" with this thermostat, which will soon go back to it's owner :(

Instead of buying the new imt350c, I'm also very interested in buying the "good old" nt20e from someone who wants to upgrade. I don't need ant fancy wall-mounted screens, just temperature and remote control possibilities.
I'd love to hear from someone who wants to sell the nt20e.

NT20e is still a good choice, if you don't need a humidity sensor, touch screen and don't mind the "looks" after seeing the IMT series.

The Proliphix Plugin is almost ready; all I have to do is change some things in recognizing the right thermostat model.
For the IMT series I added the display of the humidity.
