Hi Im new to this forum so hello to everyone.
Im a commercial industrial heating engineer. I have a good knowledge of work with opentherm but nothing regarding it programming.
What i need is when an OT boiler has a fault i need it to simply switcha relay to turn on a light. This in principle is very easy but i have no clue how to do this.
im also suprised no commecrial manufactures have a simple pcb to do the function. Although vaillant produce it but much larger to do diffrent things so i know it can be done.
I would appreciate any help you coud give me.
Kind regards
Hilton
OT errors to switch relay

Re: OT errors to switch relay
The OT Gateway has configurable outputs, originally intended to drive LEDs. You can configure one (or more) outputs to come on when the boiler reports a problem (e.g. LD=M, which is actually the default). If you connect some simple circuitry to that output to drive a relay, I think you're all set.
