Hi guys,

I have this setup running for a month now and forgot to link back a small bit of data which seems to set this device apart from most other smartmeters. the RXD port for this device does not need to be inverted to work properly. It actually prevents it from working at all. For the rest of it, it communicates exactly like any other smart reader: 9600 baud, 7N1.

here are some graphs:

Fun part is the part where it's linked to my solar panel readings in pvoutput.org. It combines all importing and exporting traffic into one nice big daily graph and makes my keeping an eye on my powerusage a lot easier.

The most interesting development this has brought me:
I never expected it to let me force myself using high consumption appliances like a dishwasher, washingmachine/dryer during the daytime when peak export whould be highest due to sunny weather.
If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem!

Fibaro HC2, various z-wave switching, alerting, detection modules.
ELV FHT80b heating system.
