OTG with Arduino and Openhab

Hi all,

I'm planning to start using the OTG soon. However, I want it integrated in my Openhab setup. Here's where I need help.
My idea of setup is:

OTG connected via serial interface with Arduino.
My arduino is connected via WiFi to my network and Openhab

The communication between arduino and openhab will be MQTT.

The questions I have is:
Has anyone already a similar setup?
What do I need to connect the OTG with my Arduino?

Please let me know if more information is needed.

If you're so anxious to get a response, posting in the correct forum might be a good idea. I check the Opentherm Gateway Forum almost daily. This one, not so much.

If the Arduino and OTGW are close together, you can just rip IC2 out of the OTGW and hook up the serial interfaces of the two at TTL level. All you have to do then is write the Arduino code to translate the hex messages of interest produced by the OTGW to MQTT.
