Connect LED - what type of LED voltage

I wanted to connect some LEDs to the OTGW and found the page at
http://otgw.tclcode.com/peripherals.html.
This page says that PIN 1 is connected to VCC 5V. Does this mean that I need 5V LEDs? Because conrad.nl does not have any of these, most of them are around 12V or 24V.

12-24V?
Last time I soldered LEDs to a PCB you needed resistors to squeeze the current coming from a 5V source (so as to have approximately 2V across the LED).

The
web page you refer to assumes the use of very simple LEDs. Conrad has those in different colors, such as
red,
green, and
yellow. You don't power these LEDs by putting a certain voltage on them, but by running a certain current through them. The resistor is used to control that current. So, the voltages mentioned by conrad are of little interest.
The LEDs marcelr points to have a built-in resistor. You would not connect those as described on the OTGW peripherals web page.
