:roll: you are right - the 24V is not connected :oops:

I didn't know what i changed in the end - but now it works! :)
Probably the socket of the PIC was not soldered correctly or at the beginning i made some kind of mistakes.
The first PICs i had to reprogram because the verify against gateway.hex gave me wrong results - therefore it is possible that they got somehow damaged.
Also strange was that my MAX232 did not work - possible also a result of an mistake at the beginning.

But now i attached the PIC to the otgw board again, only connected GND, RxD and TxD of the USB-TTL converter and it works well.
With the TTL signals without the MAX232 i think it's better for me because i've got some more USB-TTL converters here and it is one source of mistake less.

I tried also everything with OTMonitor - and i think now everything works as expected.
PR=A gives me the result:

Code: Select all

22:40:04.679097	Command: PR=A
22:40:04.728428	PR: A=OpenTherm Gateway 5.0
I thank you very very much - you helped me a lot, and: i think i learned a lot again during the last few days!
So this topic can be labeled as solved. :)
