I put together a OTG but have problems with it. I get a connection through Prolific-USB to the software and the symbol in the right corner turns green.
The PIC is flashed with the diagnostic file, but when I run the diagnostic option it tells me "diagnostic firmware is required".
When flashing to 3.4 I get " manual reset is required". I have a PIC-programmer and flashing works fine.
Has someone on the forum any similar experiences?
Unable run diagnostics on OTG

Re: Unable run diagnostics on OTG
Are you sure you connected using the correct serial port? When you power up the gateway, do you see any text in the log window of otmonitor?

Re: Unable run diagnostics on OTG
Schelte,
There is no text in the login screen. All I see is the symbol in the right corner changing from 2 red parts to 1 green.

Re: Unable run diagnostics on OTG
The green symbol in the bottom right-hand corner only indicates that the program successfully opened a serial interface, not necessarily the one your gateway is connected to.

I have the same problem....
Serial port good connect
Firmware upgrade: "Please manualy reset the OTG"
Long time later, this message: Could not switch gateway to self-programming mode
