Hello,
I build the usb opentherm gateway for controlling my celcia 20 thermostat with the Remeha Quinta 28C boiler. Everything is working fine except the temperature override. The boiler doesn't support the override function, but the celcia 20 should support that function. The gateway firmware doesn't recognize the celcia20 (PR:D). I tried different firmware versions. How can i force the firmware to celcia thermostat (PR:C)?

Did you allow enough time for the gateway to figure out which thermostat you have? It may take up to 15 minutes before all the necessary information has been provided by the thermostat.
If waiting a bit longer doesn't help, please enter the command DP=63 and then collect 30 minutes of logs and send them to me.

My gateway is working oké now.
Thank you Schelte for the firmware with the celcia bit at default.

I have the same problem. Can you share the firmware which solved the problem?
Re: Celcia20 and OpenthermGateway
Can you provide some logs so I can make sure it is the same problem? For one user I'm happy to use a hack. But if this is a more common problem, I have to find a better solution.MtenHoorn wrote:I have the same problem. Can you share the firmware which solved the problem?

Re: Celcia20 and OpenthermGateway
Thanks for the log. You indeed seem to have the same firmware as b@s, which doesn't provide any information about the make and model of the thermostat. So the gateway can't auto-detect that it's dealing with a Celcia 20.
I guess I'll have to add a serial command to allow you to manually configure it. But for now I'll send you the firmware that has this bit hardcoded so you can start controlling your Celcia.

Hi Schelte,
I've got the same problem. PR=R returns D, on a celcia 20.
Used to work fine with older firmware and the TR=xx command for overriding.
Can you send me this firmware to, or is there another fix already?
Dank,
Robert

Re: Celcia20 and OpenthermGateway
Firmware 4.1 now allows you to configure which thermostat model you have via the FT serial command.
