Problems with the Fibaro micro modules?

Post by JohnRobie »

I've been looking to buy some of the micro modules / in wall Z-Wave controllers from the likes of Fibaro, zwave.me, or Aeon Labs etc... Fibaro's seem really nice because of their size.

But I've noticed that they no longer have them listed as a product on their site? They're all missing from the product row on http://www.fibaro.com/en/the-fibaro-system and the only reference is on their support page and a couple of pictures.

Does anyone know of any problems that I should be worried about it? It looks like they've withdrawn them from the market / promotion. I note that sellers still have them as products, but I guess they would still sell their stock?

Thanks Akatar.

I noticed that they do have 'support' for the device, but when you look at the current list of products for sale (http://www.fibaro.com/en/the-fibaro-system) it's no longer listed. All their other products are. It's also disappeared from their News section and most of the site's imagery (a few graphics still use it).

That makes me feel like they've taken it off the market due to problems?

they are very much avaiable.. and so far the best ones you can get.

if you require energy metering feature the aeon labs may be a better choice.
but for normal dimming - on/off in-wall ... the fibaro just keep what they promise !

Fibaro are among the most reliable and flexible of Z-Wave devices available in my experience.

They tend to remove products from their web site when they're about to launch a new version of the product
