Fibaro multisensor not properly recognized by Vera3

Post by Wouterfj »

Hi there,

I'm running a Z-Wave setup with the Vera 3 controller.
today i tried to install a multisensor from Fibaro but it doens't work the way it should.

The system only recognises it as a motion sensor. no temperature or light.

also it is not aible to confihure the node. It just says that Vera 'can't get the version' in red under the device in my dashboard.

Anyone else having trouble installing this?

Hope someone can help me out.

from the fibaro forum:

there was a known issue with v2.4 with 3rd Party Controllers but it has been fixed with the v2.6. If you are using a 3rd Party Controller and have been shipped v2.4 sensors from your dealer, please contact them for a replacement.

Anybody has an idea how to check which firmware version is currently installed on the sensors (2.4 vs 2.6)? According to the order it should be 2.6, however I want to be sure :-).
Still waiting for the correct firmware for the Vera3 too... Holiday joy! :-)

You can check it on the packaging: there is a small sticker with version nr on it : v2/6 EU.
In Vera UI5 you can check it at"advanced - version info" .
I have 2 Fibaro motion sensors and I am very satisfied !
You need firmware version 1.5.672

Thanks Mai Pensato! I finally installed 1.5.672 (beta) which I received from Vera Customer Support, and seems to be working. The Homeseer (2 and 3) slaves are next :-)
