I received a newsletter from pixmania.com offering a 32GB Solid State disc for 59. I see many price differences for SSD disc and I don't understand why the price differences. What are point to check when buying SSD?

Search the forum for SSD, i know there have been posts with some more information about different types of SSD, reliability etc.

If you buy it, use it as a gadget not a hard disk replacement. There's a reason why enterprise drives are three times more expensive.

I guess this is the serie with the 'hickups' it sometimes let you wait a second before it gets the data......

If you want to use an SSD for your valuable data, either wait a little or get yourself one based on SLC NAND flash technology. See also:

I have a 64 Gb SSD in my Asus EEE box
Did not had any problem in the last moths..performance is much better that the original 2,5" 5400 disk
