The HomeRemote Wireless Home Automation System from Hawking Technologies is an innovative and affordable interface to your home from anywhere in the world. From work, school or even a coffee shop with a WiFi Hotspot, you can keep an eye on your home, secure it from intruders and control daily appliancces with the click of a mouse or press of a button on your cell phone.
The HRGZ1 HomeRemote Gateway
The HomeRemote Gateway is a portal between the internet and your home that enables you to control your lighting and appliances and view live video from your cell phone or an internet web browser. The Gateway connects to your home broadband network (router) and acts as the central management system for your home or office. You can schedule your lights to turn on and off at a specific time, setup evetnt alerts to your cell phone or Email or control an entire group of devices with the touch of a single button (Scenes) all from the Gateway's user-friendly interface. When you press a button, for example "Living Room Lights ON" on your HomeRemote cell phone or web browser interface, the HomeRemote Gateway uses the instantly recieves your command via the internet and sends a wireless signal to the living room light module and tells the device to turn on.

Customize your home by adding any combination of the many Z-Wave accessories currently available in the market: Thermostats, automatic window shades, plug in lighting modules, light switches, electrical appliance modules, motion detectors and much more. Add a Hawking HomeRemote Camera (HRNC1) for viewing live video from your cell phone or web browser. The possibilities of applications for the HomeRemote System are endless. Customize one for your lifestyle today.

Setup and Installation
Setting up a HomeRemote system is as easy as:
1) Connecting the hardware to your home router
2) Adding your Z-Wave accessories to your system by pressing a button on the included setup remote and your Z-Wave accessory.
3) Running the Setup Wizard CD to configure the details of your home

Its that easy. HomeRemote provides an intuitive setup wizard that asks you a few simple questions regarding your home (i.e the number of rooms in your home and the names you would like for each room or device) and automatically sets up the connection to your network. You can choose a custom web address to access your HomeRemote system remotely from a web browser (i.e. www.myhome.homeremote.net)
