DigitalRise X9: This is the latest 3G GPS Windows 10.2 inch Multi-Touch to be released from China. With the iTablet (Apple Tablet K48AP) slated to come out in several months there is so much hype about tablet PCs. This X9 packs a bohemith list of rich features into a slim case. This picture above shows this X9 has large 10.2 Inch multi-touch scren and we will try to list all the rest (if possible) for those of you whose mouths are drooling right about now - Compatible with 3G Networks, Built-in GPS Navigation, Bluetooth, Wifi, Mp3-Mp5, WebCam, 160GB Sata, etc.

The X9's screen is billed dust, scratch, and fire resistant. It can support a pixel resolution of 1024 x 600, and runs with an Atom 270 processor. The chipset is a standard 945GS, and the tablet also packs 2 GB of RAM and a 160 GB hard drive. The X9 sports a card reader and 3 USB slots as well. This PC has 3G support AND a SIM slot. To cap things off, there's also a 1.3 MP camera.

X9 Tablet PC is housed with a 10.2-inch touchscreen display with resolution of 1024×600 pixel features multitouch technology, 1.6GHz Intel Atom N270 processor, an Intel GMA 950 GPU.Other Features of D-rise X9 includes 1GB of RAM, 160GB hard drive, Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g, three USB port, VGA connector, and 4-in-1 card reader (SD/MMC/MS/MS Pro).The New Tablet PC also supports WCDMA, TD-SCDMA, CDMA2000 3G connectivity.

The New X9 Tablet PC from DigitalRise also includes 2,800 mAh or 3,500 mAh battery capable of providing a backup up to 4 hours.The X9 Tablet PC weighs about 2kg and has dimensions 226.3×166.9×24.7 mm

looks nice
to bad the y use a bit old technology.

C510/20 CPU and another chip set will be more efficient.
if the Apple version is not where i'm waiting for i will go for the Archos 9

I guess more people are waiting for the Apple tablet announcement. Seems there is even prices out there for whomever provides pictures or the real thing to a magazine :)

Archos is still on my wish list as well unless the Aplle blows it away. A little bit more patience required.........

I support your theory, this tablet looks slick but uses old technology.

Unless the OS or interface design permits us from using it as a proper domotica interface I'd probably go for the Apple tablet... but hey I'm an Apple freak :mrgreen:
