I don't get this... why not include PoE and lose the 230V plug.

It would be an ultimate platform to control my touchscreens... if HStouch would run on it.

I think they are a bit short in their information.
What is this precicly, what can it replace and give some examples?
I don't get the feeling now that i do need one. It's more like 'what is this and i don't need this thinggy whatsosever'

It's meant to provide a cheap and lightweight server of sorts. This is just on incarnation of the kirkwood-platrform of ARM. On the other side of the big pond companies are offering these with an online storage option to share files stored on this plug.
People which are using NSLU's can use these as a replacement.
I'm contemplating one to use domotiga on it.

Oke, but how do i control this server? Can't attach a screen to it so it must be remote. And the OS, is this limited to linux or can you also boot an OS from an attached disk? Will HS run on this? i suppose not.

You could control it via the std remote tools that linux provides, ssh, http and others depending on your configuration.
Standard there will be Linux on it, the only possibility to get something remotely like windows on it would be windows CE or alike. If you can install HS on that, you should be able to get something really low-power.
Because it isn't x86 it's hard to get windows on it, if at all possible.
For me it's ideal, if you're stuck on windows, it won't be for you...
