Has anyone tried this firmware yet, in combination with Siemens Gigasets as the previous version sucked for those.

Also wondering if this will work with the HS plugin which is critical functionality in my setup....

Planning on using this as a basis for a freetz firmware in combination with openvpn and a more secure ftp.
Which siemens handsets do you use? C47 by any chance?

I'm running with this firmware for two days now without any problems. I've not tested all Gigaset phone options (like call transfer to other handset), but answering machine and missed call notification are working again (envelop symbol is blinking).

I'm using C59H and 4000micro handsets.

No crackling anymore with the C47? Here that's the only handset that crackles, no matter the distance or other equipment.

I never had this problem with my C47
I think this is C47 firmware related.

What a coïncedence, AVM released the IPv6 Lab-version, based on .81. Now the C47 crackles much less if not at all. Nevertheless going to mail siemens to ask if the handset itself can be updated and if so, how.

It is working OK over here with Siemens C47 and C14 phones. The menu items are now also translated into Englisg with the exception of the 'Hauptmenu'. The envelope is working on both phones and I even found out (do not know whether this was the case with the previous version) I can browse the menu and phonebook on the C14 using the 2,4,5,6,8 keys where 2 is up, 8 is down, 4 is left, 6 is right and 5 is OK.
