Sounds interesting, but i am only curious what the controlling software will be ... if it can't connect/run to/with DomotiGa, HS, etc ... it will be reasonable useless for most people.
DomotiGa / Z-Wave / RFXCom / Visonic PowerMaster / Home Assistant / Zigbee2MQTT / DSMR Reader / Toon1 (rooted)

Re: Dune HD vs z-wave
I´m guessing it will act like an simple controller like a düwi wallcontroller or maybe as an ordinary switch witch can switch TV off via HDMI-CEC or something. Guess we'll have to wait till the end of the year and set aside some money
Re: Dune HD vs z-wave
Dune is already very good in home automation.
More than a year ago I already said "I wish all things were as easy as with this HDI Dune".
Read http://dune-hd.com/firmware/ip_control/ ... erview.txt
and you know that you can throw away the Dune IR Remote
IP control has proven to be very reliable (as reliable as your network) here during the last 14 months; I don't see any reason why a Zwave layer should be added. These new products have network connectivity, so?
Every self-respecting HA system could/should already have Dune Media Player support

Hmmm ... if they make the Dune Z-Wave as easy as it shows there, i will be first one to start "abusing" it (when it supports notifications ofcourse) The Open Z-Wave lib is nice, but not perfect.
