Offtopic,
But I can say that hps is given good service and information.
and what is cheap? you can pay a old pc with a touchscreen monitor
all from ebay or marktplaats, but after all you pay the same or mabye some cheaper.
And now it's 1 compleet system it's looks much beter too.
note : I not work there, but I was a client of them at my previous job.

Professionally I'm sure it's a good supplier, but for hobby purposes their solution is just too expensive. Most of us would prefer to have 2, 3 or even more of these to control their homes.
And we all know the components for the station we want aren't that expensive: An Intel Atom mainboard (including processor), 1 GiB of RAM, a 8 GiB Disk-On-Module and a power supply can be bought for around 100 Euro. The problem is getting an affordable housing with a touch screen. Those are still pretty rare and hence expensive.

I have the possibility for hiding the case somewhere else and just have the screen in front.
Maybe I will go for something like that..my goal will be than max 300 euro including 10" screen

@Bert: What are your experiences with the Lexcom 15" POS? I was browsing the HPS site and stumbled upon this one. It seems the ideal Homeseer controller for the living room to me. I do not have to built it into the wall but can position it on top of our 'dressoir'.

The system runs perfect. I use this system now for several month as dedicated Homeseer system. Screen quality is also good.
