OpenTherm binding for the openHAB home automation system

Hi everyone,
I'm one of the developers of the Z-Wave binding for openHAB. I also started working on an Opentherm Gateway binding for the openHAB home automation system. (http://www.openhab.org). OpenHAB is a very flexible and powerful home automation system with extensive rule and scripting support. My goal is to build the ultimate modulating, Opentherm compatible smart thermostat around. With the help of openHAB I can integrate presence detection, messaging, scheduling, outside temperature readings etc all into a very smart heating system. I'm planning on finishing the binding in a couple of weeks, just before I have to start heating my house
Anyway, the repo is at: https://github.com/jspuij/openhab/tree/ ... rm-gateway
Right now I have both serial and TCP connections reading and I'm reading the messages. Next task will be decoding them and converting them to events on the OpenHAB event bus. Finally I'll implement the commands (including 4.0 firmware) to be sent to the gateway to start controlling the device.
Best regards,
JwS
