Great device, thanks for the heads up.
However i did ask if the cams have some kind of stream , like RSTP or RTP since i use Blueiris as security recording software and would like to see them there as well.
It would be great if the pan/tilt function will be working in blueiris also but i guess this is also for Ken from blueiris to see if he can make it work.

I've backed it as well. I'm curious what the answer will be on the question if they have an api

It had no Enternet connection. And onvif is not in the specs list.

I haven't got a answer yet on the question about a rstp stream or any usable one.
Hope it will come today.

Yes indeed, thats actually the only reason that i haven't backed it, so i am hoping on a answer soon before the places are all filled.
I'd like to have it in my blue iris working and not using several programs.
And since i am not skilled enough to write such a thing myself to integrate all in one it would be a waste to buy it, at least in my case.

I finally got an answer and its probably not the one we wanted to hear.
This takes me out of te backing part since its only at this moment usable with there own viewer.
Jacob Hanks says:
As of now, we don't work with outside software. Look for it in the future.
THanks
I asked about if there was some kind of stream coming out that could be picked up with other software.

Well, that lowered my pledge. I want to be able to fetch streams. Next to that you need the internet to connect to the cam and I don't want that. I want to reach it directly

Update
What you heard is incorrect. You can log in iCamPRO from WiFi or 3G/LTE. You can log in from your iOS, Android, and PC browser.

i noticed his reply indeed,
i quoted his last email.

If it is not accessible by a stream url, and there is no api.
isn't it automatically only usable by there own software or plugin then , or do i have wrong thoughts ?

Here is my question i have send 2 weeks ago:
I was wondering, i am interested in this camera.
Since i am using Blueiris and other IP cams.
Is there a RSTP or RTP stream available that i can add the cam to blueiris.
Or are there APIs or commands so it can work completely with blueiris ?

Best regards

@bwired:

I drew the conclusion based on the reply of following question:
---
I understand that you are using Google WebRTC protocol for the iCamPro, but for privacy concerns, I would actually prefer NOT to use Google, or allow the camera to have internet access. i.e. the camera can only be accessed if you are connected to the LAN.

Is it possible to connect my pc browser directly to the iCamPro on my LAN to get a live view/control the camera WITHOUT an external internet connection? e.g. iCamPro and pc on the same LAN, but iCamPro does not have internet connection..
----
Their answer:

------
@greg, at the moment WebRTC is our only service available. Please note that all A/V transmissions are 256 bit encrypted. We'll update more on this issue in the future.
-----

And following answer:

-----
Hello Greg,

We are the only company in the market employing 256-bit encryption. That is the most important privacy protection that you can find. We also support NAS SMB/CIFS so you can connect recorded videos to your personal storage.

marcus
-------

No direct answer about connecting locally. I read the 'no other services' as a no. In the demo on youtube they connect to the can through their website.

Might have interpreted it wrong when reading it now. Could be. But I still lower my pledge. It feels to closed for my liking.

Harry
