vESPrino - quickly add sensors to domotica

Post by vlast3k »

Hi Guys,

You may be interested in this device: vESPrino
https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/vesp ... 10721175#/
Just launched the campaign.

It is a small USB Powered device, that has Button and RGB Led. Via Serial Port you can configure it to connect to Domotica and either trigger event with the button, or led the LED shine some color.
There is also a variety of sensors that can be easily plugged in - w/o wires- E.g. Gesture or RFID sensor. Or some display to which you can send messages from Domotica. Also there are the standard LUX and Temperature sensors, and few others.

The primary goal is for people to quickly jump into developing IOT apps, but i believe it has also potential for Home automation scenarios

Hi Guys,

Just FIY, i have added a notable offering to the campaign.
now each sensor can be wrapped in a "cookie" (vESPrino cookies) and several can be nested together to form YOUR device.
have a look how a PIR sensor with OLED display looks like :)

Image

Of course everycookie can be controlled or will report to Domotica (or any other HA system of course :) )

I received my vesprino temp/hum and lux sensor
specially the lux sensor is a great addition, also the supported protocols and interfaces are great and can be used for many solutions.
I use of course MQTT :)
