Is it possible for you to export those? btw if I use openssl to check the api.buienradar.nl certificate it's OK. That would mean my certificates are OK(?):

Is there a way to log the connection?

I don't think openssl is used by Toon. It is using the XMLhttprequest object within QT.
The openssl.conf file is in the folder /etc/ssl by the way

Hi Toon,

Is your code open? Or could you send me the part where the https connection is done? I just want to know what and where it goes wrong.

The apps all have plain text code, which is stored in /HCBv2/qml/apps/<app_name>/
So you can go there and have a look.

Ok, I removed (some) of the https calls and redirected them to a http server and now buienrader is working again, so something is definitely screwed up in my qt or certificates.
Could someone post his/her /etc/ca-certificates.conf file?

Ok, fixed it. Did some changes to the buienradar/regen urls (to make sure it does not get the 301 redirects). Removed all the files in /etc/ssl/certs, did a update-ca-certifcates, reboot and all is working fine again.
Don't now how the certifcates got scrambled in the first place.

Thanks for the feedback. Haven't seen this before, hope it is a one-off occurrence.

No, I cannot add weatherstations, that is a fixed list provided by Buienradar.nl.

To get correct rainforecasts on the rain tile, set your exact location:
Go to the big radarscreen and press 'Locatie' in the top right corner.
You can then either enter your lon/lat coordinates or click on the map to set your location.
Zoom out a few times and click on the edge of the map to make that the new center.
Zoom in again when you are closer to your home.
The rain prediction data is delivered at .01 resolution for lon/lat coordinates, which is a few hundred meters.

Hope this helps.

Hi all,

A new release (8.3.5) is published on ToonStore.
Changelog 8.3.5:
- now compatible with firmware 4.16.8 (weather icon on the tile in dim state was not shown)
- no need to update when on earlier firmwares (can't harm either)

Thanks for flagging. This has to do with the recent changes Quby introduced for Toon 2.
I haven't been able to test this on firmware 3.X as all my Toons have been upgraded since.
My advice for now would be to rollback to an earlier release (8.3.4 should do).

Remove buienradar via Toonstore and install the old version manually:
files.domoticaforum.eu/uploads/Toon/app ... r0_qb2.ipk

P.S. this might be valid for most applications in Toonstore so you could consider upgrading to a newer firmware.
My advice would be to upgrade to 4.15.6 using the update script from TheHogNL.
