Hello Rob,
Thanks for the good work. I now marked my 2 scenes as "favorite" but they won't show up in the dashticz screen, even after a reboot of toon.
Here is the result of the command: (i only copied the lines from the not showing scenes)

And for the outdoor temp sensor (it's a 1wire sensor, attached to another domoticz raspberry, in het tuinhuis):
It would be nice to show this temperature next to the toon indoor temperature

Thanks, will be fixed in next version!
Edit: Could you check latest beta?

Hello Rob,
Looks really nice, i now see my 2 scenes, and the outdoor temperature!.
But the settings via the user interface is still not working for me, so i use an improvised manual settings file:
{"domoticzHost":"192.168.1.11","domoticzPassword":"","domoticzPort":"8080","domoticzTileIDX":"47","domoticzUsername":"","ovHalte":""}
But with this new beta, and (i think) a combination of a manual settings file, my toon becomes very slow en unresponsive.
Can you give me a sample of a correct settings file?
Regards,

The settingsfile you have is correct.
I think the slowness is due to refreshing the state of the tiles... I noticed this too, will look into this!

Hi Rob,
Some random comments, feel free to ignore
I noticed you have a timer in the DashticzScreen.qml triggered every 2 seconds which is quite fast.
That timer is triggering loading the parameters and doing the http call to domoticz etc which takes some time but within 2 seconds the timer fires again, potentially even before the initial call has finished.
Could be the reason for the slowness...
You could consider using the OnCompleted event in DashticzApp.qml triggering loading the parameters, call domoticz first time at startup and start the timer.
Personally I prefer to have the timers in ....App.qml as well and not in sub screens.
Timer then only triggering updates of the devices/ov data. If parameters are changed manually the update function can be called after clicking 'Opslaan' in the config screen.
Hope this helps a bit.
Regardz,
Toonz

Thanks for your comments, I appreciate it!
Although, the 2-sec-timer in DashticzScreen.qml is only on startup of the app, it checks for the settings to load, when done, it redirects to the switches screen?
So that specific timer doesnt call Domoticz?

Re: Toon app: Dashticz (for Toon); NEW: OV Info (NL)
got it. Was confused by:
if(loadDevices){
getDevices();
}
in loadSettings(). Later noticed loadDevices is only set to true in the init function of the tile which is not yet started....

Hello,
I install this app on my Toon, I also installed Dashticz on my Raspberry PI.
I see my light swith on Dashticz plus in my Domoticz that works okay.
But I can not see the light buttons on my Toon.
On my Toon
What is IDX? how could I see this on my Raspberry PI maybe that is the issue I could not find it on Dashticz.
Here you see it is searching for the light buttons.

Can someone tell if Dashticz works under software version 4.7.23? Get it but not working, the symbol does not appear unfortunately ....
Re: Toon app: Dashticz (for Toon); NEW: OV Info (NL)
Dashticz - Wow! nice work and potentially a valuable addition!
after a few set-backs, I finally seem to have a few switches displayed on my (4.10.6) Toon.
However; a bunch of favorite items are not (yet) supported, but processing the list seems to slow the Toon down considderably.
So, trying to think along; would it be possible to querry / filter (and display) the devices based on a room index (planID)? It's fairly easy to define a new plan "Dashticz" for example and only add devices there that are supported and important enough to have on the Toon interface to that planID. (The Home-brigde setup uses this method to control in detail which items are made available to homekit this way)
And a Question: What does the IDX entry field do currently?

I don't see anyting on my Toon.
See my screenshot 3 toppics above.

- I am not entirely sure to be honest.How did you get the light buttons in?
I don't see anything on my Toon.
See my screenshot 3 topics above.
I think it started working and showing switches after putting in username and password (which is not required on my LAN as configured) in the dashticz.settings file; replacing the [] signs. However; I now do see that I didn't even convert the password base64 or something so.... not sure..
On a side note; this evening I removed dashticz from my Global.qml to confirm it to be the source of the intermittent hanging of the toon ui every 5 or 10 seconds or so and bad wake-up behavior; it was.
Dashticz to me seems a promising development; I truly hope Rob will continue to improve the software and we will be able to try out some newer versions in the near future.

Hi michel30.
I managed to get my lights in to first setup the file "dashticz.settings" before rebooting the gui with killall qt-gui:
If you don't use authentication leave the password and username empty like this:
Grz.
