Wrong scale in power and gas usage.

Post by jozg »

Hello All,

I'm using 2 toons, 1 for testing purposes and 1 in the living room.
I recently changed both toons, so the test toon is now in the living room.

But i found out it is showing the wrong scale:

Normally when i use 1000w or so, the scale of the green bars ar more then it is now.
Also the gas usage bars are more then now.

Does anybody know, this is editable in a file?.

Thanks.

Hello,

I looked into the usage statistics on toon itself, and it thinks that last saturday i consumed nearly 700kw electricity and 450m3 gas, so i think that is maybe the reason of the power and gas scale bars? (saturday was the day i switched toons.)

Is there a simple way to empty the complete usage database, or the usage of last saturday, without factory defaults?.
Thanks.

Just chuck away the offending database and restart hcb_rrd. That should do it.

At least your gas today is filled in nice, the mine is always to low.
When I check this in domoticz it match higher than on my Toon.

I don't know why Toon give me a complete different calculation and how to fix this.

This is all sinds the beginning that I have my Toon..

/mnt/data/qmf/var/hcb_rrd/*.rra

It's not one database, but many.
Be sure to only pick the ones you really need. (use hcb_rrd.php to check contents).
hcb_rrd.php can be found here:

Hello Marcel,

Thanks a lot.
I managed to get it work, i ran the php script on my domoticz raspberry.
I deleted the .rra and .dat files that were doing something with electricity and gas, and now the scales are ok again.

Thanks for helping me out!

Hello,

I am also checking here /mnt/data/qmf/var/hcb_rrd but for me is something real strange in here.
Maybe I need to delete all these files?

The problem is as follow:

my device call for example eneco-001-111111 but the files call complete different: a couple are neco-001-022222:hcb_config and eneco-001-33333:hcb_config_or 4423434-43324353424-343243124.dat or .rra

I think all these files needs to match eneco-001-111111 could that be the reason that my gas and power are not correct?

No. The filenames are autogenerated, the contents is described by an accompanying .dat file. Both types are read by the php script and converted to sensible data and corresponding names. This may help you in picking the right datafiles. I wouldn't just remove them, but at least copy them first to a safe place.
