You can just play with all parameters to see what they do. To get what you want, set the start date low and the end date in the distant future (2^31 - 1 is far enough :-) ).

Mmh ok. My current start and end are actually empty. Maybe that causes the message aswell.

If the messages appears tonight. Then I'm going to set the start and end date. So I'm sure what the cause was. What is the syntax? Is it in epoch or string format (like 01-01-2018?)

Seconds since the epoch, as in:

Code: Select all

date +%s

I think I can safely install all beside of firmware-ma. Any other thoughts?
Can you tell me how you retrieved those packages ?
I want to fetch the latest updates (3.7.8) and I have the VPN up.

Eneco will push those packages to your toon at some point. You'll get a message when they are ready to be installed.

packages (.ipk) will be downloaded to \HCBv2\tmp\opkg-cache by Eneco. Probably deleted after installation but you should be able to find it there at some point

happ-thermstat - 1.1117-ene-master is the latest, it's not updating printTableInfo, so without further investigation kinda useless. . I think if you have a boiler management description (or change config_happ_scsync.xml so it thinks you have) and disable Quby vpn who knows what happens.
What I don't understand is that this version of happ-thermstat is trying to query a lot of extended OT Id's but is not updating the table. Maybe we 're missing something.

Code: Select all

{'dataId':'74', 'value0':'00', 'value1':'00', 'updated':'0', 'description':'[ID 74: 00 00, VentilationHeatRecoveryConfig]'}
{'dataId':'202', 'value0':'00', 'value1':'00', 'updated':'0', 'description':'[ID 202: 00 00]'},
{'dataId':'206', 'value0':'00', 'value1':'00', 'updated':'0', 'description':'[ID 206: 00 00]'},
{'dataId':'208', 'value0':'00', 'value1':'00', 'updated':'0', 'description':'[ID 208: 00 00, vhrCoefficientOfPerformance=0.00]'},

Ok here it goes.

I've been reading this topic in and out.
I got a used Toon which stucks at the second dot(boot screen).
According to the person whom I got it from, it happend after a software update.

So far I managed to root the toon and edited the wlan config to match mine (the point it kept stuck at while booting).
I'm in as root but I guess it's corrupted because the iptables are empty and couldn't install dropbear.

Code: Select all

 opkg install dropbear_2015.71-r0_qb2.ipk
Installing dropbear (2015.71-r0) to root...
Configuring dropbear.
update-alternatives: Linking //usr/bin/scp to /usr/sbin/dropbearmulti

I'm in as root but i'm as stucked as the toon itself.
keeps repeating the following:

Code: Select all

Do I need to follow the revive tutorial or is there a workaround?

Looks like a partly corrupted root filesystem. The kernel boots, the root process (init) runs, opkg seems OK.

Can you cd to the root directory and post the (tree.txt) file generated by the following command:

Code: Select all

ls -R > tree.txt
(please put it in an attachment, it's quite a big file, not to be put inside a post).

Even tough the iptables was empty I've put in the ssh line and the partly installed dropbear seems to work.
with SCP I managed to download the tree.txt as attached.

I succesfully rooted toon, I changed <wizardDone> to 1. Now I have a almost blank home screen. Just the clock and two greyed out buttons (home and menu), even the thermostat function is not available. How can the temp and other stuff made visible?

Two questions up front:

What happens when you set <wizardDone> back to 0?
What firmware version is your toon?

nothing happens when I change <wizardDone> back to 0.
My firmware version is 3.6.3

When I change <wizardDone> to 0 and /HCBv2/config/config_flash_gui.xml <disabled> back to 0 I see the activation wizard again.
