Blacky's Boss wrote:Three things that bug me:
- Icons for the groups have disappeared. Buttons work, but are grey
- The trayIcon is a bit larger then the others.
- Refresh time after pressing a button is too long.

Can these be fixed? :)
My next project will be a complete rewrite of this app and make it fully flexible based on the config json from Domoticz.
First need to get Domoticz up and running again, crashed for the xx time grrr...

don't wait any longer. The new version 1.1.1 is available in the ToonStore.
It is a complete rewrite of the old application (not much left of it actually).
Please read the full changelog before installing:

Changelog 1.1.1:
- complete rewrite of the app. No specific config needed for switch idx values anymore. You only need to configure the IP address and port number at minimum.
Other config options are: icon on systray (yes/no), show only domoticz favourites (yes/no), show domoticz dummy devices (yes/no)
The full config is read from domoticz and shown in two lists (switches and groups/scenes)
- Data is refreshed every 60 seconds, starting 60 seconds after the app has fully initialised. A refresh is also called when you operate one of the light switches
Note that retrieving a large config from domoticz can take a few seconds. So expect a small delay in the update of the switch status after pressing a switch
- clicking on a switch or scene on the main screen will add that switch/scene to the tile (left position, the old switch at the left position moves to the right)
- new icons are used (need the latest resource file for that - check for updates in the TSC tab in settings)
- user settings are now stored in /mnt/data/tsc (preparing for a nice upcoming feature which I cannot talk about right now :-) )
Due to the change in structure of the user settings, all the old settings have been removed.
At minimum you need to re-enter the domoticz ip and port number in the 'Instellingen' screen which will open automatically the first time you open the main screen either via the tile or via the systray icon.
- You can operate the switches on the tile directly (not in dim state), pressing anywhere on the tile outside the light icons will open the main screen

Hope you like. Feedback and suggestions for further improvements are always welcome of course

Great job Toonz, looks really good and is nicely responsive to inputs.
Also nice is the simple config.
Like it a lot!

As you have a Toon 2 the qui is very responsive indeed, it is a bit slower on a Toon 1 though, but that is also depending on the number of devices in your domoticz configuration.

Great app.
I want to change the lightbulb icons to my own icons.
Is that possible by changing the files in the /qmf/qml/apps/domoticzboard-1.1.1/drawables folder or do I have to do more?

up to firmware version 4.15, the icons from the drawables folder were used and these can easily be changed by anyone.
From version 4.16 onwards all local images used by all apps must be included in the so-called "resource files" in /qmf/qml.
Pretty inconvenient if you ask me.

Of course you can propose other icons (you can post them here in a zip file) for inclusion in the TSC resource files.
I am not a graphic designer so there must be better ones indeed :-).

Hi all,

a new version 1.1.2 is available in ToonStore, it is a small update to also show the dimmers.
You can only set the dimmers to "On" or "Off" for now.

Hello Toonz,

Is it possible to add these switch icons to the resourse files?
Thanks in advance.
