Hi, you are using a resource file for Toon 2 (which has a higher screen resolution).
Download the correct resource file for your firmware version here: http://qutility.nl/resourcefiles/
(use the resources-qb2.... ones, which are for Toon 1)
Extract the zip file and put the two rcc files in /qml/qmf

There is a problem with the Changelog screen with the calendar app. It isn't possible to correctly scroll down.
Using Toon 1 FW 4.22.7 - Toonstore 2.0.2 - TSC 1.3.2

do you mean it flips back to the top quickly? This is intended (maybe not wanted) behaviour, usually you want to see only the latest changelog.
I have never implemented a proper scrollbar there......will put it on the to-do list (not the highest priority)

I haven't had a reason to update my toon for a long time (about a year), but the new OV app sounded interesting, so I went to the toon store and updated toon store itself, buienradar, and fileinfo, and also selected ov. After clicking "Toon Bijwerken" nothing appeared to happen. That seemed familiar, so I immediately checked /etc/hosts. It was corrupt again the complete contents joined together on one line). After replacing it with a good copy, the gui restarted. When it came back, the buienradar and fileinfo tiles looked distorted.

And toon store looks like this now:

I think I may be missing something.

3.2.18 is a really really old firmware.
You should consider updating to 5.0.4. Guess that the apps do not show correctly cause of the old firmware version. Lot has changed since.

Interesting, I believe I have tested the first releases of ToonStore at firmware version 3.6 minimum, but could even be later.
ToonStore is using some system components (SimpleList and ThreeStateButton) from version 4.4.21 I believe.
I have never been able to test this on a 3.2 Toon.

IMy advise would be to upgrade. If you want all the system apps in plain qml, upgrade to 4.15.
If you want the latest and greatest go for 5.0.4

I downgraded toonstore to make sure that there is no other problem on the system. Version 1.1.5 still showed similar problems, but 1.1.0 is OK. I didn't try any intermediate versions, because 1.1.0 already alleviated my concerns.

I will look into upgrading my toon. Thanks for the fast response.

That is because the upgrade script reinstalls the ToonStore apps and the new app installers make the apps fw5 compatible during installation.
