Same here. When opening the Toon Store the updated apps get a green plus-sign. When pressing the green plus-sign I normally get a message ones that says something about updating, but since a couple of weeks the green plus-sign changes into a white plus-sign. When pressing "Bijwerken toon" the download icon shortly comes into view and disappears again. The app meant to update isn't updated.

ok, I would like to propose the following:

1. uninstall ToonStore via the prompt: opkg remove toonstore
2. install toonstore again via: opkg install http://files.domoticaforum.eu/uploads/T ... r0_qb2.ipk
3. restart the gui via the prompt: killall qt-gui

Try install an app again via ToonStore.
if this didn't solve the issue:

please post these four files here in a zipfile:
/etc/hosts
/HCBv2/etc/qmf_release.xml
/mnt/data/update/_opkg.*******-9.9.99.script.sh.log
/etc/inittab

Kind regardz,

Toonz

Did all the above but same result. I also did a reboot, but when pressing the plus-sign from new app the white plus-sign changes into a green plus-sign, then the default warning is shown. Pressing the Bijwerken Toon will very shortly display a download tray icon and that's is.

This all looks fine. Just noticed that your last ToonStore package installation was from Feb 6th.
Do you know what changed afterwards?

It looks like the update script isn't starting properly.
Need to think about what could be wrong here.

Kind regardz,

Toonz

Oh, wow, my 1000th post, what a lousy one without a good answer ;-)

If there's an update of an app or the Toon Store I update these via the Toon Store. But I may have updated the Toon to 5.0.4. on February 6, but I don't know exactly.

Regards Marco

I've seen this issue before, already spoke with Toonz about it.

Can you do the following:
1. remove all ToonStore apps and the ToonStore itself
2. edit "/var/lib/opkg/status" file and check if ToonStore + ToonStore apps exists in that file, if so, remove the lines from that app. (make a backup before you edit)
3. save the file and reboot
4. install ToonStore ipk
5. reboot
6. install a ToonStore app, like buienradar or toon-mobile.

That didn't do the trick either. I removed all ToonStore apps and the ToonStore app itself, rebooted etc. like you said. Still the same, I cannot install any app.

I will post my files he tonight, currently not at home.
I've also uninstalled/reinstalled ToonStore but nothing works.
Also the same as Marcog, the download icon shows up for like a second and then nothing happend.

I was wondering if some conolse log outputs or something is viewable on toon (like a serial console) to find out what is happening.
Also my Calendar app doesnt work properly, same is de wastecollection app. Tried really (i think) everything, but no luck...

- Boot 2010-R8
- FW 5.0.4
- Subscription with Eneco enabled
- Boilerapp running fine
- SSH working fine
- Domoticz App also installed manually, works half, maybe that gives an issue with ToonStore?

Thanks for all the help already had :)

Did you both also did step 2 and 3 of the steps i posted a few posts back?
It's NOT only removing and re-installing but also checking a file if any installation/removal left some dirt in the opkg system file.
If there's an app mentioned in the status file while it is not installed it can never be installed. It first must be removed from the file manually.

I am curious about what log files, so we can actually really see what happens.

In my case there is a /var/lib/opkg/ directory but no status file was found there. The /var/lib/opkg/status file resided in my case in /usr/lib/opkg/status. In that file after I removed all the apps and the ToonStore itself, I couldn't find a ToonStore entry.

Not yet, I'll try tonight... no SSH connection to my toon remotely at my work.. maybe that should be my next option :)

Not needed, we've already indentified the issue.
Solution is already found, needs to be build though.

EDIT:
Solution takes some time due to compiling errors.

There is however a dirty work-around:

1. install the libssl via SSH (opkg install http://files.domoticaforum.eu/uploads/T ... .1_qb2.ipk)
3. reboot the Toon

Thnx Terrorsource.. The Dirty Workaround does the trick.
One small failure, i've downloaded on my pc, copied it to root folder on toon with SFTP, but can't install because it collected some erros..
Then login with ssh again, and typed "opkg install http://files.domoticaforum.eu/uploads/T ... .1_qb2.ipk"

That did the trick...

Thank you!
