Maybe

opkg install http://files.domoticaforum.eu/uploads/T ... r0_qb2.ipk

will be better work, otherwise he will first have to download ipk file and then install it :D

I’ll get an error:
opkg: unknown sub-command

I have the latest toon software, and I have rooted it with my rpi1 and ToonRooter.
I have ssh access.
Where can I put the file for manual install.

Just run the update-rooted.sh script with -f parameter as mentioned before by TerrorSource, it will fix it (and other things as well) for you.

Code: Select all

Download the script towards your Toon. The easiest way is just to use curl from your Toon:

curl -Nks https://raw.githubusercontent.com/IgorYbema/update-rooted/master/update-rooted.sh -o /root/update-rooted.sh

Then run the script with:

sh /root/update-rooted.sh -f

Thanks it works :D

In release 5.5.7 (and onwards I assume) there is now a 60 seconds delay between pressing the 'Toon bijwerken' button and installation of the apps. This is due to the fact that the Toon tries to start the vpn which fails after a minute.

This has no further impact other than the delay itself.
Apps will install as expected.

Hi all,

to circumvent the minute delay in firmware 5.5.7 when installing apps we have completely redesigned the mechanisme to install apps via the ToonStore (joint effort by TheHogNL and myself).
The result is that apps are installed and removed much faster then before.
Installation log files can now be found in /var/volatile/log/tsc.
During the installation of ToonStore we also update the TSC script (you will get a notification of that).
This new way of installing apps will be applicable on all firmwares from 4.16.8.
On older firmwares the old method will still be used.

Version 3.0.2 is available now in the ToonStore.

Hope you like it.

Changelog 3.0.2:
- implemented new install / remove process for apps because the original firmware upgrade
process is introducing a 60 seconds delay in installing apps from firmware 5.5.7 onwards.
The new install method is not using any Eneco functionality anymore (Thanks to TheHogNL).
This new process is active from firmware 4.16.8 and requires the latest resourcefile/TSC script versions.
For firmwares before 4.16.8 there is no change.
- optimised handling of settings files
- removed unused code for supporting firmware upgrades (now part of TSC menu)

Kind regardz,

Toonz & TheHogNL

Hi all,

a new version of ToonStore is available in the ToonStore. No new functionality but a few old gui bugfixes.
Changelog:
3.0.3
- The button "Toon bijwerken" is not shown anymore when no packages are selected to be installed/removed but is showing "Terug".
Pressing the button did cause a gui to restart for nothing when no packages were selected.
- Secondly, when looking at the changelog of an app, the "Terug" button is now functioning properly as well.

Kind regardz,

Toonz

Oh, I saw the same since yesterday. I assumed I was allmost out of memory again, but maybe there is another reason? I noticed the site was also down for some time yesterday.

edit: Just found this topic. viewtopic.php?f=104&t=12523
No further questions...
