Goto the ip adress in a browser and you will see the toonWater main page.
The last step does not work. After getting a fixed IP-address which I get confirmed in DHCP, it disconnects and stays offline.
The blue led is continues on.

I also cannot ping the Wemos.

It should be possible to browse to the wemos toonWater main page without connected the sensor?

You in the same range?

So not 10.15 but 1.15

It's IP,
Host IP
Subdomain I think it's called 255.255.255.0

All my ESP's get IP-address from DHCP, in where I define which IP-address.
Subnet and DNS and Gateway are all defined in DHCP.

So that should work.

I 'll flash again, and try manual.

EDIT:
Oke, so DHCP does not work. You have to set manually the ip-address. That's where I went wrong.
Onwards with testing!

Thank you!

Yes i switched off. the DHCP option. You must set an IP adress manually! This because toon has to connect to this adress and DHCP can change when rebooting the device.

I use DHCP reservations to solve that issue

Yes, i did the same but most people love the DHCP and then forget about it or do not know the router reservations so to solve that so i removed the DHCP option.

Hello Oepi Loepi, Very nice App.

I had not enough room at the top off the meter.
I built it with the original Analog sensor delivered by the Toon1
This sensor was used for analog measure for gas and electic meter.
I test it now and later i will make picture and sent it to this post.

This app is a very good idea that we have now power usage gas and water in one component.

Whow! Brilliant to use the sensor which came with toon. I look forward to the pictures and a little sketch how to connect.

You have to put the .bin in the correct folder (same as the exe. Or a folder. .bin) Then restart FlashESP8266.exe and the firmware should be in dropdown menu.

Nice project. Ordered the stuff and will get it soon!

Question if you can make this waterapp, is it possible to make a humidity and temperature app for the Toon?
For this you can also use a Wemos D1 Mini a 10k resistor and a DHT22 (temp and humidity sensor). A lot of video's on youtube about those projects.

Keep up the good work!

Is possible of course. Note that a Toon 2 already has a built-in humidity sensor and tile.

Is this the same as the TemperatureLogger app from the toonstore? viewtopic.php?f=99&t=11684

Since toon doesn't have databases for the temperature and humidity it is not possible to get these readings in the standard graphs like power, gas, solar and water.
