Remeha iSense and C-mix

Post by Robertt »

Hi everyone,

I have a Remeha boiler which also has a C-mix unit which enables it to control 2 zones. This module is controlled by an iSense thermostat.

Now the special thing about this setup is that the iSense thermostat controls both zones over a single OpenTherm line.

Is this supported in any way by the OpenTherm gateway? I have the module set up, but it is not connected to my computer (yet).

As long as communication happens via Opentherm, it should work with the OTGW in some way. I don't know exactly how the C-Mix works, but I expect it treats the 2 zones as separate CH circuits. The OTGW supports this via the C2, H2, and M2 commands, which are the equivalent of the CS, HW, and MH commands for the main CH circuit.
