How to configure an additional TempSensor on GPIO A/B

Post by AWULF »

Hi
I have a Heating Elcoo Thison25 + Siemens QAA73 thermostat
Using OTmonitor 6.5 latest firmware 6.3
by the way, what is the difference between a QAA73 Siemens QAA73 and a Siemens QAA73.210
How Can I check what is used here at home?

I want to add an additional temp. sensor on the GPIO's
Followed the instructions to configure a DS18B20 on pin 1,2,3
Disabled jumpers JP1 and JP2
Out of the box, these boards also come with the GPIO pins connected to LEDs E & F. To use the GPIO pins for a temperature sensor, the connections to the LEDs must be broken. A sharp knife can be used to cut the PCB traces that short solder jumper JP1 and JP2.

Bridged JP3 (I suppose no add. resistor is required on this JP3)
"Ever since revision 2.7, the Nodo shop boards include a pull-up resistor that can be connected to GPIO B by shorting solder jumper JP3."

Configured OTMonitor :
GPIO A - Vdd (3.3v/5v)
GPIO B - Temp Sensor

Where should I see this temperature reading in OTmonitor?
And how can I visualize this in Domoticz?

Is there something I am doing wrong?

Here the logging

The temperature sensor functionality is intended to provide the outside temperature or return water temperature for boilers that don't implement these features. You would then see the measured temperature in the PS output for either MsgID 27 or MsgID 28, depending on the selected function for the sensor.

But judging from the equipment matrix, it seems your boiler already provides both of these temperatures. And likely much more accurate than a retrofitted sensor could ever do. So I'm wondering for what reason you want to add a temperature sensor.
