No toonstore after running root script

Post by toonnoot »

Hi all,

I've got toon2 here that was already priorly rooted.

I've recovered the toon to the original software and then tried rerunning the root procedure.

Everything went fine, I upgraded to 6.3.30 even, and the TSC menu is appearing and the SSH connection works.

However, no matter what I try, I cannot get the toonstore logo show in the menu bar.
I tried recovering and rerooting (even from the regular toon recovery procedure).
The rooting process itself works fine, but I cannot get the ToonStore to appear.

Anyone else had this before?
I'm seeing no error messages in the script, even if I just run -f.
It shows that toonstore is installed, and I even see the folder of toonstore in WINSCP un the qmf folder.

What could be the culprit here?

EDIT: just dit another root and upgrade, and now I see this in the upgrade log:
Configuring libqt5websockets5.
/sbin/ldconfig: /usr/lib/libOpenVG.so is not a symbolic link

/sbin/ldconfig: /usr/lib/libcpufreq.so.0 is not a symbolic link

Eehm, okay..

I'm just stupid xD

I just saw that the toonstore app was visible in the main menu.
Then I clicked the 'instellingen' button and saw that the 'icon in tray'. was disabled.

FFS 5 hours wasted for nothing...

Hope this at least helps someone else in the future to save some time figuring it out haha...
