Reset stuck heat pump.

Post by Kytrix »

Hello,

time to time my heatpump has trouble and stops.
I can clear the error from the thermostat and I this command appear in the log:

Code: Select all

12:18:30.029238 T90040100 Write-Data Remote command (MsgID=4): 1 0
12:18:30.123018 B500401FF Write-Ack Remote command (MsgID=4): 1 255
How to send it from OtMonitor Free Format Command ?
I really try with the doc and I even ask to chatGPT lol, but as Always it is not very accurate.

Thanks

This is a BLOR (Boiler Lock-Out Reset) request. You can instruct the OTGW to send such a request using the RR=1 command.

Looking at the log you posted in another topic, your thermostat never sends any message the heat pump doesn't support; there are no Unk-DataId responses anywhere in the log. The OTGW needs to have such a "free slot" to be able to send its own messages (like a BLOR request) to the boiler. You may have to sacrifice a MsgID to obtain a free slot. See the web site for more information.

Looking through your log there are not many candidates. The IDs suggested on the web site can't be used in your case, because the Room temperature and Room setpoint appear to be critical for your heat pump. You could use MsgID 20, unless that is also required for some obscure reason. A downside is that the thermostat only requests that message once every 2 minutes. This means that it can take up to 2 minutes before a BLOR request (or other command) is actually sent to the heat pump.

Here is the log:
https://transfert.free.fr/yUozrQ0

I send the RR=1 here:
18:45:53.044121 RR: 1

I just received my second gateway, for the second circuit!

I know this is very difficult to help by message,
Do you think i could give you an access to see by yourself ?

There are still no Unk-DataId messages in the log and MsgID 20 continues to be forwarded to the boiler as before. You must have skipped the step of making a slot available for the OTGW to use. My suggestion was to issue the command UI=20.
