toon 2 no activation button, root not possible

Hi all,

I have a Toon 2, and it looks like a preproduction model (sn 17xxxx).
I cant recover it with the 'hold buttom' method, and I get a weird screen with all text and nothing happens there.

Running software version 4.5.166.

The toon is stuck in the activation screen, and connecting to normal wifi does not produce the activation buttion.

I tried the 24h wait period connected to the root hotspot wifi with the root script running, but it has not pickup up the script after more than 24h.

Is there anything else I can try to get this fixed?
