RFXCharts - How to display humidity
In the status screen of HS the humidity is displayed but somehow in rfx charts i only see the temperature. I've read the manual's, searched this forum and the homeseer doard but found nothing. Anyone a clue?

Can you give a few more details?
Is this for the weather pages or the other environmental pages.
If it's for the weather pages, then the chart No should be set to 2 in the RFXCOM config for the humidity device. For Enviro1 the chart No is 10, Eviro2 = 11 and Enviro3 = 12.

No the weather page show's ok. It's the rfx sensor page that's only showing temp. Noth temp and humidity set to chart #1. Got two temp/humit devices and on the weather page it is showing temp & humid but on the rfx sensor page it is only showing 2 temp's, no humid.

Hi Paul,
I made some screenshots of the pages. btw it is rfxcharts v 1.1.0.10
rfx sensor page. I made sure with an SO device. the valueas are indeed both temperatures
rfx weather page. here the humidity is working ok
On the hs status page the humidity is also shown
rfx input page
the temperature sensor setting (showed on rfx sensor page)
the humidity snsor setting (not showed)
And to make sure also the vritual sensor page.
I also examened the database file and it shows values for humidity as excpected since the weather page is showing them.

OK Edwin, I now see the problem.
The RFXSensor page is really only designed for displaying RFXSensor type devices. The humidity device you are adding is an Oregon type.
This type needs to be added to the Enviro 1, 2 or 3 pages.
The reason why only RFXSensor devices can be added is that an RFXSensor can use its AD for different values like humidity or barometric pressure etc, however it always has a temeprature output type [T].
Try changing the chart No to 10 and then run the Enviro1 page.

Yes, that did the trick. Is it also possible to combine temp & humid on one chart? Or include a dew point?
Funny that with the orriganl settings the temp did show on the rfxsensor page?
Did i misread a part in the manual where this is explained?

Edwin, It is not possible to combine temp and humidity on the Enviro pages. This is because you can have 10 of each sensor type on each page. I think 20 lines on 1 chart would be too many.
It is related to the sensor type in RFXCOM. An Oregon temp sensor has type [T] and also the RFXSensor temp is type [T], but the Oregon humidity is type [H] and the RFXSensor humidity is type [Z]. As both have the same temp type it is possible to display the temp sensor on the RFXSensor page.
