Signature font-size...

Post by Richard »

Hi to all,

The last couple of weeks i see some 'new' things happen here on the forum, some of our respectable members/friends [:D] have changed/filles their signature with some spec's of their hardware/software HomeAutomation setup.

This is a nice and interesting thing to know, but wouln'd it be an idea to make the signature a few 'dots' smaller (smaller font-size)? At this moment there are posts where the signature is significantly longer then the reply on the post itself. (or the person own's a huge amount of hardware [:D] lucky person)

I wouln'd say that it's annoying, but sometimes it distracts me a bit while reading the posts.
How are you guys (and girls offcourse) experience or thinking about the above?

With Regards,

Richard

If i'm not wrong, members can change font size themselves by adding for example [size=x] codes in their sig. Just have a look in your profile. I would also like to see a bit more visual distinction between message text and sig.

this is my sig

Pieter,

While you're working on it, have a look at this: why is there such a big gap between the hr and the sig text? This could be smaller i guess.

Sample signature which you place in your profile, giving the below signature. I would advice to adjust to this format in your userprofile. Meanwhile I will find an option to make this format standard.

Thanks guys for the positive pickup, i love the small(er) signatures allready [:)]
It's also a good point IMO if Pieter is enforcing this by the forum or forum rules/guide.

Richard
