Beginning of this week I sent an e-mail (as described in the first post) but did not get any reply (yet). Is there a way to download the beta software myself? [:)]

I have been holding back to buy Plugwise modules since we discovered the 'illegal' uploading of userdate to portal.plugise.com. In this post there is a mentioning of different behavior and licensing.
Since I would love to get a set and start )(beta) testing, I would like to have more clarification about the issue:
Can we use it without the uploads and have the full functionality?

Thanks for the direct download link! Installed it and using it now.

I ran into this issue:

Settings -> Personal data

Unchecked "I allow my anonymized usage data to be sent".

I get a warning:

"Warning: By disabling the anonymized upload, you are not in compliance with the license agreement. You will be excluded from the right to receive any updates and support from Plugwise until you enable it again. Continue?"

But when I click "Save"

"Registration failed. -1: registererror_-1"

I guess this is because I blocked the app to do outbound IP connectivity?

Thanks,

JW

When you do an upgrade of the software this checkbox is never shown. How can you disable the the anonymous upload when upgrading an existing version of the Source software?
