Very nice pushbutton (with led?)

Manual override? or just to trigger the 'program mode'?

That button is meant as local switch, with LED indicator (bit expensive though, Conrad 701322). For picture purpose i attached a 9V battery to it - it isn't finished yet :-)

@Richard: actually, I guess it is both a manual override (local switch) and a way to enter the program mode: the newest Xanura modules (SAIX12 and the like) switch to program mode after serveral on/off cycles within a certain timeframe. (Digit, please correct me if I'm wrong on this.)

With the PMIX35 you can program any new device direct when you know the device code.

With the PMIX35 and new modules you _should_ be able to program devices remotely however this doesn't work flawless. Even the EATON instructor got away with the message 'well most of the time this should work' (@ xanura course)

@Digit: Conrad 522228 is almost twice the price of Conrad 522880. Did you actually pay that? Are there any reasons (other than esthetical) to go for the 522228?

@Henk/sddroog: what's the difference between Conrad 522880 and 522910? One seems to be for pcb mounting (522880) and the other not?

Thanks!

Yes. Because the cheaper one would probably end up not being used at all because it's so ugly IMO. So i paid a bit more; no other reasons.

Hi Digit,

Thanks! I guess we agree: the other ones are butt-ugly. But then again, if you place 'm begind curtains etc. it won't matter.

You're right, the choice depends on where you're going place them :-)
