Hi,
I tried to use the AWMR-230 buildin switch to switch on/off a fan. While the switching works perfectly the fan produce a significant humming sound. It seems that this can only be used for lights and such.
Is there a replacement available that has the same fuctionalities but that is able to switch a fan on/off without giving it a humming sound?

Alternative for AWMR-230 switch
They indicate that this AWMR-230 is for lighting devices only.
Try the ACM-1000 which is an appliance module that can control motors. If you also want to switch it by using a wall switch then add the AWST-8802.
You can also use the WST-8800 but this one using the old code with X10 addressing.
Or the HomeEasy HE307EU. But this switch is not able to control the ACM-1000 directly and switching has to be done using the HA system.

The reason i used an AWMR-230 is because i could put it behind the old switch with a pull-cord so the old mechanical switch can still be used.
Sadly, none of the proposed solutions will be an one-on-one replacement of the AWMR-230
