Hi All
I bought some Merten z-wave devices and also the Merten USB Controller for testing etc.
Does anybody know if the above SDK kit is working with the Merten.
I want to write my own driver to control the Z-Wave devices.
The program which comes withe the Merten controller is only for configuration.
Or any other option?

I think (don't know, haven't tried it) that the Controlthink SDK only works with there own stick.
There is a freeware Linux driver some ware on the net. I think it was made by Hari on http://zwaveworld.com/forum/
He might be the one to talk to.
The only way I know to control Z-Wave from your own program, is trough a master. LUA with Micasaverde Vera or the coming QEES master, XML with Innovus House Control and so on.

The programming library in the SDK is licensed for use with its companion Intermatic USB controller. However, for commercial licensees, it may be used with other Z-Wave PC Controllers.
To help get you started on your first Z-Wave software project, customers who pre-order the Z-Wave PC SDK now will get access to the SDK Beta forums, where they can download a copy of the (stable) ControlThink.ZWave v1.1 library. The beta is licensed for use with any Serial (RS232) PC Controller or the ACT ZCU000 USB PC Controller.

I had already downloaded a VB.net sample program which contained the same Dll (ControlThink.ZWave.dll)
Here you download a VB or C# sample http://blogs.msdn.com/coding4fun/archiv ... 37418.aspx
The DLL is in there too as I mentioned.
