Getting my Harrison curtain to work

Today I finally installed and configured my Harrison rails (They have been hanging without curtains and power for 4 months )

Unfortunately I can not get the RFXcom and Homeseer to control them. I configured the motor and remote according to the RFXcom document, and they still work perfectly using the regular remote, but no reaction with the RFXcom.

The curtain does not respond if I use code C1, and I even tried H16 incase I configured it wrongly (both housecodes set to full control). It also does not respond when using RFtransmitter.

According to RFtransmitter, my transmitter version is 41.

Is there something I'm overlooking?

Transmitter 41 is a RFXmitter so you have to use RFXmitter.exe

I bought the transmitter/receiver combi, didn't know it was the RFXmitter... I'll see if I can find that executable, it wasn't in the package I got with it.

I've got version 3 motors.

RFXmitter works, but not from my Hometroller (XPembedded).

I turned on the RFXmitter setting in HS and now it works... just 1 quirk...

All curtains open when I press close, and they all close when I press open using RFxmitter or HS. Using the buttons on the remote does work correctly. Is there anyway I can swap this in the settings?

It seems there is a difference in Harrison remotes with open/close assignment.
The easiest way: reroute the wires in the remote or put an open/close sticker on the remote.

The remote is ok... its the assignment in HS and RFXmitter that's the other way around. According to the icons HS my curtains are open, but they are actually closed. Also the buttons work the other way around (press close to open, and press open to close).

Seems a bit weird to put stickers on my HS webinterface

@bert: as i understand the remote does act fine (open = open, close=close), but HS and the xmitter software act differt. So if you mean to change the cord, the remote is incorrect and has to have stickers. It's what you would think of a solution ofcourse.

Is there an Open/Close text or indication on the new Harrison remote?
The older versions don't have this indication.

As far i can remember reverse the plus and minus will also reverse the open close. Or am i wrong?

There is a sticker on the back of the remotes, not on the buttons themselves.

I'll switch the power cables tonight when I'm back at home to see if that helps.

Had the same problem, two rails, one opened and one closed when issuing the same command. Called the guys from Harrisson, they told be to flip one dip switch (cannot recall which one) and everything works like a charm.

Give them a call, they are most helpfull.

If I remember well, then there should be a small black switch on the motor housing to change direction.

Flipping the switches on the side of the motor changes direction. However the buttons on my remote are upside down, but that is acceptable.

Maybe this is something to put in the RFXcom configfile to flip curtain direction.
