Hello,
After installing the the PHP/XML webclient and as a result of either this or some other unknown problem I have caused (lets face it, it was something I have done) I now continuously get the log error message
"RFXCom receiver: Unable to connect. Connection refused."
The RFXCOM transmitter still connects fine and I can connect RFreceiver no problem. Any thoughts from the Domotiga gurus?
Dave

Re: RFXCom Receiver Problem
Dave,
If this is an Ethernet connected receiver be sure that no other program, for example RFreceiver, is connected when you start DomotiGa.
Only one program can connect to the COM port in the LAN interface.

Re: RFXCom Receiver Problem
Bert,
Thank you for the prompt response. There is nothing connected or trying to connect to the receiver during Domotiga's start up (or any other time). Post starting Domotiga and receiving the error message I can use RFreceiver to access the receiver.

Is this a LAN connected transmitter?
Check the IP address and port 10001 (3 zeroes)

Re: RFXCom Receiver Problem
Yes this is a LAn connected transmitter and IP and port are correct.
After a bit of playing around and an upgrade to Ubuntu 10.10 it apperas that the problem arises when I change to a fixed IP via the network GUI. If I change back to DHCP and reboot it all works again.
I will keep playing around with a fixed IP but any suggestions would be appreciated.
Cheers Dave

Are you able to use RFreceiver if you set the fixed IP?

Re: RFXCom Receiver Problem
With the fixed IP address on the Ubuntu PC
1) I can still use RFreceiver on a windows machine and connect
2) Still access the internet/local network on the Ubuntu machine
Domotiga will just not connect.. More investiagtion required (as a complete linux/domotiga newbie the learning curve is very steep)....
