Digimax support added
Hi there,
I've added support for the Digimax thermostat device. Ii've decoded the message by hand (there is still the last byte i don't understand, it might be a checksum.... )(is there any spec ? or another open source project which have properly decoded this device?)
I've also added 38400Baud rate in the configuration of the Rfxcom, its the rate used by my device (4800 doen't work)
I've also found a bug in the OWL cm119 message decoding, maybe this bug happens only when the electrical consumption is still 0 ( my OWl 119 is not installed yet, so it report 0 KWh)
I would like to share this, and i would like these feature to be maintained in future release ..
How can i do this?
Thanks
I can't access to PM.....

Re: Digimax support added
Hi all,
I'm new to Domotiga (and this is my first post). My "former" home automation system was running on MrHouse ans was using Digimax 210 + RFX receiver (433MHz) + CM11A and AD10 modules (heating management in the house).
I am changing to PLCBUS instead of X10 (reliability ...) and also to Domotiga which I find very cool for the time being ! Thanks guys for developping that !
I understood from previous reading that Digimax was supported by Domotiga but I couldn't find out how to do it.
If someone can help ?
On the other hand, I've been working few years ago in improving the use of Digimax in MrHouse and digging in my archives I found the data structure. I attach this document if it can help hplus (yes, the last byte is a checksum).
Thx !
NOTE: Attached document removed on request of RFXCom.

Hi,
Seems there is some NDA involved in the support of the Digimax protocol...

From what I understand, you figured it out by yourself so there should be no problem sharing your findings with RDNZL. If you didn't sign an NDA with Digimax and these are your own findings, you're not bound by one.
Good luck
update: post slightly amended to be more comprehensible.

Hi hplus,
Does seem somewhat out of the ordinary when it is already supported by rfxcom receivers and transmitters. Any further details?
Cheers...

I would be happy to share this.
But if i remember well, i've send the source to rndzl some time ago (correct me if i am wrong)
but for any reason it didn't make its way to the trunk....

Will check my inbox for it, but I remember I had that code already in RFXComRX.class, but I could be wrong.

Got green light to implement it, so will add it to the task list/create a ticket...RDNZL wrote:Searched my inbox, only found digimax code from a source of which i'm not allowed to publish.
