Hi,
In my hall I have a double switch that I would like to control using KAKU modules. The problem is that the KAKU modules can only control an "enkelvoudige schakelaar"
WALL double switch
WIRES
- 1 black (for lamp 1)
- 1 black (for lamp 2)
- 1 blue
- 1 brown
- 1 yellow/green
The problem is that brown and blue are connected to the switches internally, but the KAKU needs 1 brown per switch.
Question
Are there light switches that have 1 brown / 1 black PER SWITCH? With such a switch I could add 2 AMWR-230's to control each lamp.
Double switch
Re: Double switch
Yes there are but you have to look for them carefully at the store (praxis/gamma etc).
I had the same problem. However you don't have much choice in models.
It is sometimes also possible to cut/split the switch internal wiring
Also please note this from the KaKu faq

4. Zorg dat de onderlinge afstand tussen zowel de contactdozen als inbouwontvangers minimaal circa 50 cm bedraagt, om interferentie van de overige ontvangers te voorkomen.

Re: Double switch
DJ,
Is it possible to install the KAKU modules close to the lamp and not behind the wall switch?

Re: Double switch
I would be able to install 1 of the 2 KAKU modules close to the Lamp, but that would take out the feature of using the local Switch, bypassing the KAKU technology in case of a problem... I could possibly just use a wall switch transmitter and no 'real' switches..
More stuff to think about
Thanks
